Simon Barrad will sing the baritone solos in Bach’s transcendent St. Matthew Passion. Maestro Julian Kuerti conducts a double orchestra, double chorus, and soloists, in this production filled with meditative, dramatic, and beautifully personal music. Accompanied by images from artists Peter Paul Rubens and Angelino Medoro, the KSO will retell the epic tale of the passion of Christ in dramatic fashion in their Lenten season production.
