Simon Barrad will make his Wigmore Hall debut with pianist Ignat Solzhenitsyn performing Shostakovich’s vocal masterwork - Suite on verses by Michelangelo Buonarroti.

Also on the program, violist Timothy Ridout will perform Shostakovich’s last written piece - the viola sonata - with Solzhenitsyn.
